About the Job



After recently announcing our Series B fundraise, we’re hiring a Strategic Finance Manager to play a crucial role in Lean’s next growth phase. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you’ll be responsible for the strategic business plan, annual Budget, ROI analysis, reviewing revenue trends, investment appraisals, and other strategic financial projects. We’re moving to a more data-driven and strategic approach to investment, the right candidate will bring a maturity and forward-thinking perspective to our work and be a real strategic partner to the business, allowing us to unlock new opportunities for growth.

Our products have garnered the trust of leading companies and enabled them to deliver powerful experiences when connected with a user’s bank account, allowing users to perform prudent financial planning, get better rates on loans, transfer money to friends, and more, without compromising on privacy or security.
Some of Lean’s clients include the likes of Binance, Etisalat Group, Careem, Sarwa, and many more, making it the region’s most valuable Open Banking platform. Responsibilities



Running the quarterly forecasting and budgeting cycle
Owning the forecasting and budgeting tools
Long-term financial planning and modelling
Interpreting complex financial information to provide updates and commercial guidance
Developing complex models such as customer acquisition and lifetime value analysis
ROI for investments in product development, marketing and other areas
Supporting Fundraising and Corporate Development/M&A
Supporting Investor Relations
Assisting with other strategic finance and pricing projects as required

Desired Qualifications



Previous experience with Financial modelling
Experience in financial planning and analysis roles
Experience working in a SaaS or fintech environment
Presenting to senior stakeholders
Corporate Finance experience is advantageous
Exposure to a high-growth or high-change business environment
