As an Assistant Storekeeper at AQC Decoration Design & Implementation, you will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of our storeroom. With your expertise, you'll assist in the management of inventory, ensure the accurate tracking of supplies, and support the Storekeeper in daily operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in receiving, unloading, and shelving supplies efficiently.
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly store area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Support the Storekeeper in managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.
  • Issue supplies as per the requisition forms and maintain detailed records.
  • Handle stock-related duties including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies.
  • Examine incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in supply chain or inventory management is a plus.
  • 6-8 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 per month
