The storekeeper is responsible for the day-to-day operations of material receipt, issue, control and record on site as per related procedures.
Recording the received/purchased items from Purchasing Department.
Preparing theCumulativeMonthly Stock Balance Report containing the supplied and remaining quantities of each material, as per Company Accounts Codes and Works Items for construction materials, tools, consumables.
Keeping Delivery Notes, Invoices, SRTs, MRRS, L.C.s copies for the duration of the project and as required by PM.
Recording itemized deliveries in the Material Stock Card as per Company Accounts Codes and Works Items, separately for construction supplies.
Recording and signing the daily issued materials registers. Cumulative Monthly Stock Balance.
Must ensure that the specified/approved delivered materials are properly labeled, production and expiry dates and shelve life are clearly mentioned and that technical literature available.
Controlling excess and unusable materials during the whole project’s period. Storing them in a suitable location ready to be inspected and to proceed with a related stock control periodically.
Skills
Qualified candidates with 8+ years experience in construction projects preferable building / villa projects.
