Job Description
As a Store Coordinator, you will be responsible to support Stores & Inventory Control function in the delivery of supply chain operations for aircraft and non-aircraft parts, tooling and equipment that are required to support aircraft and simulator maintenance operations at EFTA. Ensure adherence to the General Civil Aviation Authority Civil Aviation Regulations (CAR) and applicable Emirates Group policies.
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Report hazards and manage risks, to deliver an excellent service to maintenance that is customer-oriented, accurate, timely and value for money
- Maintain currency in regulatory and mandatory training courses, such as safety management system and aviation security.
- Qualify as a goods receiving inspector. Receiving items into the store from vendors or quarantine and rectify non-conforming items when they arise. Issue tools and spares to customers to meet their requirements.
- Ensure that unserviceable items are shipped for repair or overhaul, managing the repair process of rotable assets. Scrap items in accordance with CAR, arrange calibration of tools and maintain 100% availability. Maintain a clean and orderly store, report facilities defects and monitor the repair.
- Use the maintenance information system to manage all supply chain operations. Use Microsoft Office software to communicate and process information effectively and efficiently. Use Emirates Group applications and software where required.
- Report stock levels and supplier performance to customers and management as directed. Work closely with maintenance management to identify and source capital and consumable spares to improve off-shelf satisfaction rates.
- Liaise with vendors to arrange services including shipping and repairs. Process warranty claims without loss to EFTA. Report vendor performance to management and recommend alternative vendors.
- Provide supply chain services to support EFTA workshops and maximise availability of items repaired at EFTA.
