Job Description – Sr. Team Leader (Telecom SMB Hunting Business)


Job Summary:


The Sr. Team Leader – Telecom SMB Hunting Business is a sales leader of professionals whose primary job is to acquire new Small and Medium Business (SMB) clients. The role includes driving revenues, developing business strategies, and managing team performance towards meeting ambitious revenue targets.


Major Responsibilities:


Sales & Business Development:


Manage a team of Senior Sales Executives & Sales Executive to acquire new SMB customers of telecom services and products.


Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue and growth targets.


Identify prospective business opportunities, develop leads, and convert them into long-term customers.


Build solid relationships with key decision-makers in the SMB accounts.


Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to close deals.


Team Leadership & Performance Management:


Set clear objectives and performance targets for team members.


Provide coaching and ongoing performance feedback to maximize sales effectiveness.


Monitor and analyze sales performance, taking remedial action as required.


Market & Industry Analysis:


Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market forces.


Develop strategies to place the company's offerings distinctively vis-a-vis competition.


Provide inputs and recommendations to the management team for product/service development.


Process & Operational Efficiency:


Follow company policies, pricing models, and sales procedures.


Utilize CRM tools to track sales pipeline, customer interactions, and performance indicators.


Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, product, and customer support) for efficient delivery of services.


Client Relationship Management:


Establish good rapport with SMB customers to develop long-term business relationship.


Address customer complaints and provide remedies to ensure customers are satisfied.


Detect opportunities for cross-sale and upselling other telecommunication services.

Marvelous leadership and human management skills.


Ability to drive B2B sales in telecom arena.


Irreproachable negotiating competence and excellent communication skills.


Ability to plan and execute business development strategies.


Well-versed in CRM tools along with selling facts.


Good level of high energy, self-energy, and direction to results.



Requirements

Education & Experience Background:


Bachelor/Master's degree in Business, Selling, Advertisement and marketing or similar field.


Selling telecommunication experience with min. 5 years possessing at least 2 years' experience of supervisory ability.


Desirable prior work experience in SMB sales/hunting business.


Sufficient knowledge on telecom products, services, and market trends.
