Black & Grey HR is
partnering with a leading Food Manufacturing Company to find a skilled Senior
Executive – Rendering. This position is responsible for managing the rendering
operations within the meat and poultry processing department, ensuring compliance
with food safety and quality standards, improving production efficiency, and
leading a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of
meat and poultry processing, rendering techniques, and industry best practices.
- Participate in key
decision-making processes related to corrective and preventive actions for
operational improvement.
- Set, monitor, and
evaluate production goals while effectively coaching and managing team members.
- Track and report on key
performance indicators (KPIs) associated with production efficiency and
quality.
- Maintain a clean, safe,
and efficient production environment by educating staff on best practices,
equipment usage, and adherence to control points.
- Enforce and uphold health
and safety protocols across the production floor.
- Monitor the quality of
incoming raw materials and final products to ensure they meet both company and
regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the flow of
materials and processes, optimizing equipment usage while minimizing waste and
downtime.
- Develop, update, and
maintain comprehensive documentation related to quality assurance and
operational procedures.
- Ensure all production
staff are adequately trained and maintain up-to-date training records.
- Facilitate and
participate in internal and external audits, taking corrective actions as
necessary to meet compliance standards.
- Oversee the entire
rendering process, including cooking, pressing, drying, and packaging of meat
and poultry products.
- Minimum of 10 years’
experience in production, specifically within the meat and poultry processing
industry.
- At least 3 years of
hands-on experience in rendering operations.
- A minimum of 3 years of
experience in production management within a multinational company.
- Bachelor’s degree in
Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical
Engineering.
- HACCP and Lean Six Sigma
Green Belt certifications are preferred.
- Strong leadership
capabilities with experience in team management and development.
- In-depth knowledge of
rendering processes, food safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Experience in managing
quality systems, audits, and documentation compliance.
- Excellent communication
skills, both written and verbal, in English.
