Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company's objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and regulatory filings accurately and within specified timelines.
- Manage the procedures, process controls, and accountmanagement for the business capital funding and loan agreements.
- Perform financial analytical reviews, revenue and budget management, and business financial reporting with internal stakeholders.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Conduct financial analysis, including profitability assessments, cost control evaluations, and performance metrics tracking.
- Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and examinations.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial processes to safeguard company assets.
- Stay updated on cryptocurrency industry regulations and best practices for custody services.
- Optimize financial systems, including accounting software and reporting tools, to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify the risks to the business and propose solutions to the management to mitigate the risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and fully qualified chartered accountant
- ACCA/ICAEW/CIMA/CPA or similar.
- Great knowledge of local accounting ( CIMA,ACCA/ ACA is a plus).
- 6+ years’ experience preferably with a consultancy background or in a relevant position in the financial or banking industry, currency exchange, fund management firms, trading firms, crypto firms, treasury/liquidity function or similar.
- Familiar with local laws and regulations of the financial and trading industry.
- Experienced with automation tools or worked on a large automation project
- Independent, self-motivated, and have the spirit to expand the financial
- function of the business.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS-Excel, Power BI, Data Analytics, google sheet and MS office
