As a Specialist Urogynecologist, your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating conditions related to the female pelvic floor and urinary system. You will be instrumental in conducting comprehensive patient evaluations, interpreting diagnostic tests, performing surgical procedures, and managing ongoing care plans. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories and symptoms through detailed urogynecological assessments.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including pelvic imaging and urodynamic studies.
- Diagnose and manage conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and other bladder disorders.
- Perform surgical interventions, focusing on both minimally invasive and reconstructive surgical techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including options for medication, physical therapy, and lifestyle changes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
