Job Description

We are seeking a creative and ambitious Regional Marketing Specialist MENA to accelerate our business expansion in the MENA region. Central to your role will be driving revenue growth for Checkout.com through customer-centric Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and integrated marketing efforts. You will implement marketing strategies that amplify our brand visibility and foster deeper engagement with prospects and existing merchants.


ABM will be at the core of your work, with responsibilities spanning 1:1, 1:few, and 1:many ABM motions, ensuring high-impact interactions with Tier 1, 2 merchants and high priority prospects. You’ll also play a pivotal role in co-creating success stories with merchants, turning them into public advocates for Checkout.com. Reporting to the MENA Marketing Lead, you’ll work closely with the Commercial team (Sales and Account Management) and the wider global Marketing team to deliver measurable results.


How you'll make an impact:


  • ABM Execution and Merchant Advocacy: Develop and execute ABM campaigns to drive engagement with high-value prospects and key merchants. Collaborate with merchants to co-create case studies, press opportunities, and event participation to strengthen advocacy efforts. Use ABM strategies to enhance merchant retention and grow advocacy within the region.


  • Campaign Support: Co-create and execute region-specific marketing campaigns, with a strong focus on diversified Account-Based Marketing execution (1:1, 1:few, 1:many). This includes the development and implementation of targeted digital campaigns to amplify reach, engagement, and lead generation across key platforms.


  • Personalized Messaging and Sales Enablement: Create tailored messaging and sales assets for key accounts that align with regional insights and product propositions. Support Sales and Accounts Management Teams with tools that enhance account engagement.


  • Regional marketing contribution: Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive, cross-channel marketing plan for the MENA region, driving revenue growth and brand awareness.


  • Events: Collaborate closely with the Commercial team to design and execute regional events and field marketing initiatives that are strategically aligned with ABM principles. This includes creating tailored experiences for 1:few, and 1:many engagement models, driving meaningful connections with target accounts and fostering stronger merchant relationships through events that emphasize co-creation, advocacy, and value delivery.


  • Analytical insight: Use tools such as Looker, Pardot, Salesforce, 6sense, and Google Analytics to measure the impact and ROI of marketing activities, and turn insights into actionable strategies.


  • Market awareness: Stay informed about regional market dynamics to ensure marketing efforts align with both global strategies and local preferences.


  • Regional brand visibility and advocacy: Build and fortify relationships with influential figures, partners, and well-known payments organizations in the local market, boosting Checkout.com's regional brand presence.



Qualifications
  • 3-5 years in strategic B2B marketing with a focus on Account-Based Marketing (ABM). A background in payments, fintech, or related sectors is highly preferr


  • Experience across multiple marketing channels: Demonstrated use of various marketing channels such as content creation, events, social media, PR, digital marketing and email campaigns.


  • Independent problem-solving: Proactive in addressing tasks and challenges with a self-directed and solution-oriented approach.


  • Project Management: Skilled in managing projects, setting priorities, and supporting cross-functional teams to action.


  • Data-Driven Mindset: Experience with marketing technology tools for performance tracking and ROI analysis, as well as providing actionable recommendations to drive improvements.


  • Innovation Mindset: Ability to explore innovative strategies and support the execution of new ideas.


  • Collaborative team player: Enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic team, collaborating effectively with colleagues worldwide to achieve impactful results.


  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. Arabic language is a plus.
