About the Job


Responsible for supporting VP, Human Capital in developing and implementing the strategy within Human Capital Division, in alignment with the corporate strategy and objectives. Provides strategic guidance and support to the division and ensures the effective execution of the strategy. Monitors and evaluates the performance of the division and recommends corrective actions as needed


Key Accountabilities


Strategy Development and Implementation


  • Develop and implement strategy for the HC Division, including developing a robust risk mitigation plan.
  • Develop and implement a set of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the HC Division that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and track the performance of the HC Division against the KPIs on a regular basis and provide accurate and timely reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify and analyse any gaps or deviations from the expected performance levels and provide recommendations for improvement or corrective actions.
  • Understand how different projects interlink and overlap and collaborate with the HC team to manage project resources including and managing budgets and fund allocation.
  • Run events, workshops and liaise with the communications team to increase HC program awareness.

Project Performance and Improvement


  • Take a leading role in the HC Division project management and planning processes and managing dependencies across the divisions and the consolidation of all project related activities.
  • Monitor project performance and provide feedback to executive team and directors whilst identifying opportunities for continual improvements.
  • Execute and support projects ranging from mid-sized process improvements to major business transformation initiatives based on project management practices and quality, time and budget standards.
  • Perform post project reviews with stakeholders to ensure that changes have successfully been executed and that approved budgets have been adhered to.
  • Supervise the HC Projects for implementing and maintaining document storage system that will contain all documentation for all projects and which can be readily and easily accessed by stakeholders in the company.
  • Produce regular reports for HC-VP giving updates on current projects and for future projects that have been submitted for evaluation, as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements


  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in human capital, with at least 4 years in Planning and Performance Management.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across different levels and functions.
  • Solid knowledge of best practices and trends in planning and performance management, including strategic planning, operational planning, budgeting, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
  • Sound knowledge of human capital development principles and frameworks, including competency management, talent management, learning and development, and employee engagement.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey clear and concise messages to various audiences, both verbally and in writing.
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CIPD Certification is a plus.
