Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough ocular examinations and assess patients' visual health and medical histories.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions, including but not limited to cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy.
- Perform various surgical procedures, including cataract extractions, LASIK, and other ophthalmic surgeries.
- Prescribe medications and therapies to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education regarding eye health and preventive measures.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
