As a Specialist Interventional Radiologist, you will utilize advanced imaging technology to perform a range of interventional procedures. You will be pivotal in providing patients with effective treatment options while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional radiology procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, biopsies, and drainages using imaging guidance.
- Analyze imaging results and clinical data to create tailored treatment plans for patients.
- Consult with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive patient records and document all procedures accurately.
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure patient and staff wellbeing during procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with advancements in interventional radiology.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with a completion of a residency in Interventional Radiology.
- Board certification in Interventional Radiology preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing a wide range of interventional procedures.
- Strong knowledge of imaging technologies and their applications in patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration.
- Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
