Job Description

  1. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sustainability procedures and regulations in alignment with local and international standards through implementing programs for employee awareness.
  2. Keep abreast of policies and regulations of Civil Defense, Dubai Municipality, and ISO 45001 to ensure compliance of occupational safety and health.
  3. Develop and implement emergency and incident response plans to minimize risks and protect individuals and property/facility.
  4. Prepare periodic reports on the health and safety status within the building, which contributes to improved operations and informed decision-making
  5. Identify work-related injuries or occupational diseases and take preventive actions based on an analysis of the situation in collaboration with relevant departments
  6. Develop and implement a system for managing DHA’s fixed assets, including processes for removal, addition, maintenance, replacement, and destruction.
  7. Review and improve technical procedures for asset and property management to ensure data integrity and accuracy in the system.
  8. Create and enforce maintenance procedures to ensure the sustainability and functionality of DHA’s assets and facilities.
  9. Update and manage systems for preserving ownership documents and coordinating with relevant governmental bodies.
  10. Conduct inventory analysis of all assets (equipment, furniture, etc.), ensuring accurate data and compliance with internal systems.
  11. Review all service contracts for services (maintenance, security, cleaning, etc.) and ensure their compliance and execution.
  12. Identify potential risks related to service contract execution and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions such as preventing service interruptions or identifying alternative suppliers to maintain continuous service delivery.

Required Minimum Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).


Preferred Certifications: Certified Facility Manager (CFM)/ Project Management Professional (PMP)/ Environmental Management System (EMS) Certification (ISO 14001)/ Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

Nationals: 8+ years of overall experience, with 5 years of experience in specialty. Masters with 6+ years of overall experience, with 3 years of experience in specialtyNon-Nationals: 13+ years of overall experience, with 9 years of experience in specialty ; Masters with 10+ years of overall experience, with 7 years of experience in specialty
