As a Specialist Consultant Surgical Oncologist, you will leverage your expertise to conduct surgeries, assess treatment efficacy, and implement advanced surgical techniques. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure comprehensive care throughout the patient's journey.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with cancer, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Design and implement individualized surgical treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
- Perform a range of surgical procedures with precision and skill, focusing on cancer treatment and management.
- Monitor patients during the postoperative recovery phase, managing any complications that arise.
- Collaborate with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Participate in tumor boards and contribute to case discussions and clinical decision-making.
