As a Specialist/Consultant Pulmonologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with a range of pulmonary conditions. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and effective respiratory care, promoting better health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories and symptoms related to respiratory health
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, and bronchoscopies
- Diagnose and manage diseases of the respiratory system, such as asthma, COPD, and interstitial lung diseases
- Develop tailored treatment plans, which may include pharmacological management, pulmonary rehabilitation, and lifestyle modifications
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes
