SearchPlus HR is proud to announce a new opportunity for a Specialist Consultant Pediatric Surgeon. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality surgical care to children from infancy through adolescence, diagnosing and treating a variety of surgical conditions.
In this role, your expertise in pediatric surgery will play a significant part in improving the health and well-being of our young patients. You will collaborate closely with pediatricians and specialists in creating comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring that every child receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations and diagnoses of pediatric patients with surgical needs
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs
- Execute a variety of surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques
- Monitor and manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
- Maintain comprehensive medical records and ensure accurate documentation of all procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic and coordinated care
- Stay updated on advancements in pediatric surgical techniques and best practices
