As a Specialist Consultant, you will evaluate patients' needs, execute surgical interventions, offer effective post-operative care, and work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including reviewing dental history and performing oral examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as radiographs and biopsies, to inform treatment decisions
- Diagnose and treat complex oral and maxillofacial conditions, including those requiring surgical intervention
- Perform surgical procedures, such as extractions, reconstructive surgeries, and dental implants
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies to aid in recovery and manage pain
- Provide thorough pre-operative and post-operative care for patients
- Collaborate with other specialists in creating and implementing effective patient treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, recovery plans, and oral health maintenance
