In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various ocular diseases. As a Specialist Consultant, you will have the opportunity to use the latest technologies and treatment methods in the field of ophthalmology while working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations and assess patients' visual health.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of ocular conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts.
- Perform surgical interventions when necessary, including cataract surgeries and laser procedures.
- Advise patients on ophthalmic health and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress in accordance with medical protocols.
- Participate in professional development activities to remain current with advancements in ophthalmology.
