In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological disorders, significantly impacting the lives of patients suffering from conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and neurodegenerative diseases.
Your expertise will be crucial in providing comprehensive assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing personalized treatment plans. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team will be vital to ensure optimal patient outcomes and health improvement strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose patients with neurological conditions through detailed history-taking and examination
- Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scans, and EEGs
- Develop individualized treatment plans encompassing medication management, lifestyle modifications, and therapeutic interventions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes
