SearchPlus HR, a premier human resources consulting firm, is actively seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Specialist Consultant in Maternal and Fetal Medicine. In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to pregnant women and their fetuses, addressing complex medical issues that may arise during pregnancy.
As a Specialist Consultant, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, manage high-risk pregnancies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for both mothers and their babies. Your expertise will be vital in providing education, support, and advanced medical treatment to enhance maternal and fetal health.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed assessments of pregnant patients, including medical history and laboratory tests
- Diagnose and manage complications during pregnancy, such as gestational diabetes, hypertension, and fetal abnormalities
- Conduct advanced imaging and diagnostic procedures, including ultrasound and non-stress testing
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for high-risk pregnancies
- Provide prenatal and postnatal counseling and education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other specialists to ensure holistic patient care
- Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Engage in research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in maternal and fetal medicine
- Provide support and mentorship to junior practitioners in the field
