In this role, you will leverage advanced imaging techniques to perform minimally invasive procedures aimed at diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.
As a Consultant Specialist in Interventional Radiology, you will be responsible for a wide array of interventional procedures, including but not limited to angiography, embolization, drainage, and biopsy. Your expertise will be vital in collaborating with referring physicians, conducting patient evaluations, and developing tailored treatment plans. You will make a significant difference in patient outcomes through your dedication and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing interventional radiology procedures under imaging guidance, including angiography, embolization, biopsies, and fluid drainage.
- Assessing patient medical histories and diagnostic imaging results to formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Working closely with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and follow-up for patients.
- Providing detailed and timely interpretations of imaging studies and documented procedures.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of patient records, procedures performed, and outcomes.
- Staying current with developments in interventional radiology through continuous professional development and education.
- Adhering to safety protocols, ensuring patient safety during procedures and managing risks associated with interventional radiology.
