As a Specialist/Consultant Internal Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of adult diseases, managing complex patient cases, and providing patient-centered care. Your expertise will be crucial in improving patient outcomes and managing chronic conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in adult patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, imaging studies, and other laboratory tests
- Provide preventive care and health education to patients
- Coordinate care with other specialists and healthcare professionals as needed
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Engage in continuous medical education and stay current with developments in internal medicine
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
