Perform surgical procedures, including but not limited to, fracture fixation, tendon and nerve repair, microsurgery, and reconstructive surgery.
Provide non-surgical treatments such as injections, splinting, and therapy referrals when appropriate.
Offer pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring patient satisfaction and optimal recovery outcomes.
Surgical Expertise:
Utilize minimally invasive and advanced surgical techniques, including microsurgical and endoscopic methods, to achieve the best patient outcomes.
Stay current with technological advancements in hand and upper extremity surgery.
Collaboration and Multidisciplinary Care:
Work closely with other specialists, including plastic surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, to deliver comprehensive care.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and care planning.
Patient Education:
Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and surgical options clearly and empathetically to patients and their families.
