SearchPlus HR, a prestigious human resources consulting firm, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Consultant Foot and Ankle Surgeon to join our team. As a Specialist Consultant Foot and Ankle Surgeon, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the foot and ankle, ensuring our patients receive optimal care and support.
In this position, you will assess patients, perform surgical and non-surgical interventions, and provide comprehensive post-operative care. Your expertise will contribute to improved mobility and quality of life for patients suffering from various foot and ankle disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' medical history and perform thorough physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays and MRI scans
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including fractures, tendon injuries, and arthritis
- Perform surgical procedures, including arthroscopy, joint replacements, and reconstructive surgery
- Utilize innovative surgical techniques and technologies to optimize patient outcomes
- Prescribe medications and therapies to manage pain and promote healing
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and instructions to patients
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Stay informed on the latest advancements and research in foot and ankle surgery
