In this role, you will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions affecting the colon, rectum, and anus. Your expertise in surgical procedures and comprehensive patient care will significantly contribute to improving the health and well-being of our patients.

As a Specialist Consultant, you will perform in-depth evaluations, recommend and conduct surgical interventions, and provide ongoing post-operative care. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure that patients receive multifaceted care tailored to their specific needs. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in colon and rectal surgery will be vital for delivering top-notch treatment.

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical history and symptoms
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests such as colonoscopies, imaging studies, and laboratory tests
• Diagnose and treat various conditions related to the colon, rectum, and anus
• Perform surgical procedures including colectomies, rectal resections, and minimally invasive surgeries
• Prescribe medications and other treatments to manage patient recovery and symptoms
• Provide thorough pre-operative and post-operative care for patients
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate medical records and documentation
