As a Specialist Consultant in Anesthesia, you will be responsible for assessing patients prior to surgery, administering anesthesia, and monitoring patients during and after surgical procedures. Your expertise will ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal surgical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments to develop individualized anesthesia care plans
- Administer a range of anesthetics (general, regional, or local) during surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout surgical interventions
- Address any anesthesia-related complications or emergencies that may arise
