About the role


As a Specialist, Compensation & Benefits you will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefits programs within Atlantis Dubai. and work closely with the Manager, Compensation & Benefits to ensure compliance with internal policies and the industry’s best practices.


You will also conduct job evaluations, salary surveys, and market research to determine competitive compensation structures as well as compile data for the annual market survey submission. Additionally, you will collaborate with the HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits-related activities, and review and analyse compensation and benefits data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. You will support the implementation of performance-based compensation programs, including merit increases, bonuses, and incentives, and provide guidance and support to employees regarding compensation and benefits inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally. 


About you


The successful Specialist, Compensation & Benefits candidate will have a relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in HR, hospitality management, or a business administration field, as well as 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, working within a compensation & benefits environment. You will ideally have some experience managing a direct report or have demonstratable experience coaching and developing others.


You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organisation. You will also have strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decision-making, as well as be detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. You will also be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
