As a Specialist and Consultant in Gastroenterology, you will provide expert evaluation and treatment for patients with gastrointestinal disorders. You will play a critical role in diagnosing complex conditions, conducting specialized procedures, and crafting comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing gastrointestinal examinations.
- Order and interpret a variety of diagnostic tests, such as endoscopies, biopsies, and imaging studies.
- Diagnose and manage conditions related to the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and pancreas.
- Perform endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and ERCP as required.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the latest clinical guidelines and evidence-based practice.
- Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal health and management strategies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Engage in continued education and stay updated with advancements in gastroenterology.
