About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Spa Therapist to join the team of Talise Spa in Jumeirah Al Qasr. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Provide excellent therapy services to guests by recommending correct treatments and offering full product knowledge, in accordance with Spa protocol and accepted certification practices, to ensure they always receive enchanting, immersive health and wellness experiences
- Examine treatment rooms before beginning a treatment to ensure they are fully set up, equipped, and in line with the established standards
- Inspect all areas of the Spa and treatment rooms to ensure their cleanliness so that guests are provided with a clean and comforting experience.
- Provide a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within the Spa in line with standard documentation, sequence of services, SOPs etc., thus adhering to local regulations.
- Carry out spa treatments to the highest of standards. Ensure all checks and preparation are adhered to standard protocols thus providing a smooth and professional service
- Be ready to receive the guests and ensure consultation questionnaires and other details (wellness history, allergies, dislikes etc..) are read prior to the treatments and appropriate therapy is provided leading to pleasing guest experience
- Assist in keeping accurate written record of treatment and products used in view of repeat guests to ensure these are readily available when guests arrive for their treatment
- Replenish all items in the Spa to ensure the necessary inventory level is always maintained
- Ensure any member and guests’ complaints or queries are followed through in an effective, professional, and timely manner
- Seek customer feedback, questions, and concerns to ensure issues or complaints are escalated to enable long-term improvements in the products and services
- Perform related tasks and duties as assigned and deemed responsible by reporting manager
- Ensure that high standard of personal hygiene and grooming are strictly observed and followed
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
- Adhere to departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions enabling delivery of luxurious service to guests and in line with Jumeirah standard of excellence
- Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment procedures, instructions, and controls
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent
- Professional health therapy qualification (nationally recognized)
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Spa Therapist preferably with an international luxury hospitality company
