JOB PURPOSE


A Social Media Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and executing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support the organization’s marketing goals. This role involves developing content, managing social media accounts, analyzing engagement metrics, and staying updated on social media trends to maximize reach and engagement.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


Social Media Strategy:


  • Develop campaigns aligned with goals like brand awareness and engagement.
  • Prioritize platforms based on target audience.
  • Create a content strategy with themes and seasonal posts.

Content Creation:


  • Produce quality visuals, text, and videos.
  • Manage a content calendar for consistent posting.
  • Curate relevant content from external sources.

Community Engagement:


  • Monitor and respond to followers to build community.
  • Maintain brand voice across interactions.
  • Coordinate with customer support for prompt responses.

Analytics and Reporting:


  • Track performance using analytics tools.
  • Provide monthly performance reports with insights.
  • Adjust strategies based on data.

Paid Advertising:


  • Plan and optimize paid social campaigns.
  • Conduct A/B testing to refine campaigns.
  • Use audience targeting to reach key demographics.

Research and Trends:


  • Analyze competitors and industry trends.
  • Implement new tactics aligned with audience interests.
  • Conduct research on audience demographics and behaviors.

Collaboration:


  • Work across departments to align social content with broader goals.
  • Manage influencer partnerships for brand credibility.

Technical Skills:


  • Proficiency in social media management platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
  • Knowledge of social media advertising, including paid campaigns on platforms like Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Professional design skills for creating visual content using software like Canva or Adobe Photoshop.

Key Soft Skills:


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to craft engaging copy and interact with followers. (Arabic/English)
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and adjust strategies based on insights.
  • Creativity for developing unique and on-brand content ideas.
  • Project management skills to organize content calendars and coordinate campaign schedules including yearly social media platform strategy.

Minimum Experience


Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related fields.


Experience: 1-3 years of social media experience, including strategy development and analytics.
