Oversee day-to-day operations at the project site to ensure smooth execution of Civil and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works.
Ensure work is being completed according to the projects timeline, budget, and quality standards.
Supervise subcontractors, laborers, and other site personnel to ensure work is performed effectively and safely.
Site Coordination and Supervision:
Coordinate and collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams to integrate MEP systems into construction work.
Provide technical guidance and resolve issues arising during the construction phase.
Conduct site inspections to verify the quality of work, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
Design and Planning Implementation:
Review and implement the design plans, ensuring that construction works follow the approved designs, specifications, and local regulations.
Assist in interpreting project plans, construction schedules, and site layouts.
Communicate any changes to the design or scope of work to the project manager and other stakeholders.
Quality Assurance and Safety:
Ensure all works on-site adhere to established quality standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Identify potential risks and implement corrective actions or adjustments to prevent project delays or safety violations.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, site diaries, and daily reports.
Prepare and submit weekly reports to the project manager and senior engineers regarding the status of the work, any challenges, and upcoming activities.
Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
Assist in liaising with clients and other stakeholders, ensuring their requirements are met and that they are kept informed about project progress.
Attend site meetings and contribute to discussions on progress, quality, and safety.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in site engineering, with expertise in both Civil and MEP works.
Experience in construction site management, including handling civil and MEP works on large-scale projects.
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
Strong knowledge of local regulations and industry standards in Abu Dhabi.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
