What you will do:


  • Promote and facilitate after-market sales of mtu products (spare parts) and services to Distributors, Service Partners/OEM’s and Direct Customers in MENA region. 
  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives by preparing and implementing action plans, conducting audits and recommending improvements.
  • Achieves set revenue KPIs. 
  • Planning and executing Country/Partner specific activities in close coordination with Country Managers and related partners in the country
  • Prepare market individual analytics – monitor, understand and identify opportunities, competitors, potential growth and threats.  
  • Develop and maintain rapport with customers to expand customer base.
  • Create awareness of products, conduct training and seminars for clients and sales team.
  • Execution and cascade of country strategies, sales approach and terms and conditions to distributors/ partners on a regular basis as determined by the function.
  • Attends customer meetings with distributors/partners to assist in the presentation, local trade shows and events and provide feedback to line manager accordingly.
  • Tracks and reports trends, business conditions and account status to support in after - market sales development for the Middle East region.
  • Act as the point of contact for the partners and coordinate efforts with internal teams (sales personnel, service, manufacturing engineering, production) and the partners/distributor to address customer issues and resolve grievances
  • Recommends product by identifying new product and service changes.
  • Own the monthly forecasting process for service sales and ensure timely submission of wall to wall forecast in coordination with distributors, Service sales colleagues in HQ and Order management.
  • Maintain forecast accuracy not less than 90% for the monthly forecasting based on the close coordination with the partners and customers. 
  • Provide guidance on the correct spare parts and engine inventory at service partners and distributors.
  • Identifies additional market or new customer potentials and business opportunities.
  • Support the credit control and payment staff as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following qualifications:


Qualification/ Experience and Competencies


  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or business administration. 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role with a Multinational Company. 
  • Unrestricted travel within MENA and Germany
  • Be self-driven with entrepreneurial thinking to grow market share significantly
  • Experience in technical sales for MTU engines and systems would be preferred. 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • General understanding of the market segment
  • Excellent skills in MS office
