The Role
We are seeking a Senior SEO Specialist to join our Merkle MENA team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies to improve our clients' website visibility and organic search traffic across the Middle East and North Africa region. You will work closely with account managers, content creators, and web developers to ensure our clients' websites are optimized for search engines.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement data-driven SEO strategies to improve website organic rankings and drive qualified traffic Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify new targeting opportunities and inform content strategy Perform technical SEO audits and identify areas for improvement, including on-page optimization, internal linking structure, and website speed Optimize website content for target keywords and ensure it is high-quality and engaging for users Monitor and analyze website ranking performance using SEO tools and generate reports to track progress and identify opportunities for further optimization Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and best practices Collaborate with account managers, content creators, and web developers to ensure successful SEO implementation
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a senior SEO specialist role or similar Proven track record of success in developing and implementing SEO strategies that have resulted in improved organic search traffic and rankings Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link building Experience with SEO tools and platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Fluency in English and Arabic is a plus
