About the Role
In this Senior Executive Leadership role you will be responsible for leading, developing and managing a comprehensive Network Passenger Sales Development business plan to drive long-term passenger growth and revenue tailored for the business and leisure travel markets. In addition to this you will lead the network passenger sales team, setting global strategies supported by local frameworks, overseeing strategic frameworks for global corporates and SMEs and enabling sales through commercial products and loyalty programmes. Drive technology integration, manage commercial engagement, and develop support and planning for sales effectiveness.
In this role, you will:
- Develop Passenger Sales Worldwide business plan and operating model to achieve the Company's long-term passenger growth and revenue objectives. Translate into annual, balanced, and measurable Commercial Objectives.
- Lead the network passenger sales development team by providing visionary leadership and strategic direction to achieve commercial objectives. Drive the team towards excellence in sales performance, encouraging a culture of innovation and collaboration to capitalize on market opportunities and exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate effectively with peers and stakeholders across the Airline Commercial domain, ensuring alignment on key commercial outcomes and driving synergies wherever possible.
- Provide strategic focus and guidance on revenue generation for Head of Global Business Travel and Head of Leisure Travel, by setting global and local strategies and goals and managing key global accounts and relationships.
- Identify and evaluate product opportunities across the network to address diverse market segments.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including product owners and teams across the company, to develop and bundle unique product offerings tailored to specific markets.
- Work closely with global markets to ensure the adoption and successful implementation of these products.
- Oversee the development of tailored strategies within the Global Business Travel and Leisure Travel teams, focusing on the individual needs and requirements of the relevant segments, e.g. Global OTAs, marine, cruise, oil and gas sector, ensuring market insights and innovative approaches to optimize sales performance are appropriately leveraged, and drive sustainable growth across all commercial segments.
- Oversee and act as the custodian of strategic frameworks for global corporates, Travel Management Companies (TMCs), and SMEs, ensuring these frameworks align with Commercial goals. Develop and refine strategies to enhance partnerships, drive business growth, and maintain competitive advantage, driving innovation and excellence across all business travel segments.
- Lead the strategic frameworks for leisure travel segments including global OTAs, Marine and Cruise sectors and special segments such as student, health, sports and religious travel, ensuring these frameworks align with Commercial goals. Develop and refine strategies to enhance partnerships, drive business growth, and maintain competitive advantage, driving innovation and excellence across all Leisure segments.
- Responsible for sales enablement through the development of market driven commercial products. Ensure loyalty programmes are effectively leveraged to create customer demand and driving the ancillary business.
- Oversee and drive an integrated technology, data and analytics function, collaborating with IT and Enterprise Data and Analytics to ensure optimisation and automation through a fully integrated platform and approach. Focus on distribution technologies to ensure effective design and deployment of distribution initiatives.
- Drive commercial engagement activities across Network Passenger Sales Development, prioritising collaboration with CCMB and Commercial Ops to ensure marketing and communication activities are effective and in line with corporate objectives.
