Role Overview:As a Senior Interior Designer you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-end interior design projects from schematic/concept stages that redefine luxury and innovation. Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, you will lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring every design reflects our philosophy of cultural and contextual integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage interior design projects, from conceptual development through to project delivery.
- Develop innovative and culturally sensitive design solutions that align with the client’s vision and project objectives.
- Produce detailed concept sketches (mood boards at the higher salary level) through to detailed drawings and technical documentation using Revit, freehand skills and SketchUp or your software of choice.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to integrate interior designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
- Manage and mentor junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, ensuring clear communication of design concepts and project updates.
- Oversee material selection, specifications, and procurement processes, maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while adhering to the firm’s design and quality standards.
RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, or a related field from a Western-based university.
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
Proficiency in Revit is essential, with a proven track record of producing high-quality technical drawings and documentation.
Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and materiality.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of industry trends and a passion for innovative design.
Experience in the UAE or the Middle East is preferred but not essential.
