Senior Team Leader - Bodyshop

·Ensure punctuality and discipline of subordinates in the shop floor.

·Ensure total work quality and repair process as per Auto trust Standards

·Supervise and guide the repair work

·Ensure on time completion of job as per delivery schedule

·Co-ordinate with Job controllers for proper labour and bay utilization

·Ensure W/S efficiency and productivity

·Ensure W/S safety procedures and requirements are strictly applied and followed as per Auto trust SOP (personal safety/equipment safety/customer’s vehicle etc.)

·Ensure Work Instructions are strictly followed

·Ensure workshop and Technicians cleanliness

·Co-ordinate with Controllers for over time schedule of the Technicians, if necessary.

·Need to access the repair damage and to initiate the repair in the best profitable way.

·If noticed any over budget repair/ Non profitable repair, need to inform branch manager for facilitating further support from Insurance Company.

·Co-ordinate with Parts Dept. for parts and order used parts.(For Body shop non agency claims)

·Check the used part condition on arrival and confirm the suitability and submit invoice to Parts department and ensure proper documentation.( Applicable for Body shop Forman)

·Technical/diagnosis assistance to Technicians/Front Line staff for Mechanical Forman.

·Technical interaction/explanation with customers if required

·Motivate Technicians and maintain team work

·Ensure achievement of W/S target (Financial & non-financial)

·Sharing/explanation of Best practices with Technicians

·Providing on job training for Technicians

• Degree/3 year Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering
• 3-6 years practical experience and with minimum 2 years at supervisory level.
