Job Description
Your key task is to help reduce Emerging Markets Central excess inventory levels for adidas in the most efficient way to maximize sales and profitability. Help facilitate the EMC inventory review with key stakeholders, providing insights, aligning on key topics for discussion and driving follow up actions. Work with the merchandizing team to ensure Factory Outlets an meet sales targets, via excess or planned production. With Wholesale, provide visibility on Free to Sell and Future Free to Sell and drive action where necessary. Drive the Inventory Days Lasting (IDL) agenda by agreeing targets and track performance on monthly basis. Call out risks and develop action plans with channels and Supply Chain Management (SCM). Act as SPOC for EMC on EM and global inventory initiatives. Key Responsibilities Align inventory and IDL targets with EM and track performance. Call out risks and develop action plans where necessary. Drive the monthly inventory reviews between HUB and EMC. Work with FP&A, SCM and DTC to consolidate data and presentations. Captures risks and opportunities and key discussion topics. Establish actions to help drive down excess inventory levels. Support business to help facilitate excess inventory (FTS) movements within and outside of EMC. Work with DTC to establish FO excess requirements. Support article excess actions Ability to manage complex situations and challenges Proven managerial skills Comfort around senior management Very good communication skills Strong business acumen and strategic thinking Ability to think end to end Good project management skills Excellent analytical and numerical skills Advanced MS Excel skills Good knowledge of MS Office (PP, Word) Fluent in English Qualified to Degree level or equivalent relevant experience 3+ years of work experience in demand planning, inventory management, finance function or a similar field Sporting goods industry preferred Job Title: Senior Specialist Inventory Management EMC Location: Dubai
