Job Description

  1. Provide specialist advise to department director on preparation of the strategy and operational plan for the departments and sections and ensure the designed strategy are in line with the DHA vision, mission and objectives.
  2. Ensure the sections under the department is providing their periodical updates on the strategic projects/initiatives in a timely manner and provide insights to Director on achievements and intervention requirements.
  3. Ensure the Department initiated projects are planned and executed in a timely manner and update the progress of strategic projects to the Director and other leadership team periodically.
  4. Provide support in developing various analytics for strategic planning processes such as competitor profiling, evaluation of environmental trends, assessment of core and behavioral competencies and completing/conducting the gap analysis. Asses the findings for valuable recommendations.
  5. Support the Strategic Team within the Sector to develop business plans for new project initiatives and operational improvements/enhancements.
  6. Develops presentations, analytical models and reports in order to support the development of the strategic initiatives and activities for the related function / department
  7. Provide strategic input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization; specifically relating to the evaluation of projects, initiatives or partnerships.
  8. Assist the Department's leadership in the translation of the DHA strategic goals and objectives into annual performance plans to define their departments/sections objectives and action plans.
  9. Maintain a consolidated list of all strategic projects, key details, and status on communication to project managers and overall tracking and reporting.
  10. Coordinate with external stakeholder on joint venture projects and review the consultants plan on behalf of CEO office and provide the feedback to CEO for decision making and possible interventions.
  11.  Support senior staff members in the implementation and maintenance of the performance management system within the Authority.
  12. Assist in the development of performance measurement frameworks, scorecards, and dashboards to track key performance indicators.
  13. Collect, analyze, and report on data related to performance outcomes, service delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  14. Provide guidance and support to organizational units in setting performance targets, monitoring progress, and identifying areas for improvement.
  15. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of performance metrics with strategic goals and priorities.
  16. Participate in performance reviews and evaluations to assess program effectiveness and efficiency.
  17. Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
