Job Description

We are looking for a software engineer with experience in software development who is ready to switch to Julia. Someone who is ready to expand their skills and continue their career in developing tools for algorithmic trading.

Responsibilities:

Development and optimization of algorithms for working with various data formats, including decoding, serialization, and deserialization. In-depth research and debugging of low-level library code for diagnosing and resolving performance issues. Working with HTTP/HTTP2.0 and WebSocket protocols. Implementing alerting, monitoring, and analytics systems within the team's internal framework. Development of analytical tools using the Julia programming language.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software development, knowledge of multiple programming languages and understanding of various programming paradigms. Experience with different types of databases and optimizing queries (PostgreSQL + TimescaleDB, ClickHouse). Experience with CI/CD and Docker, including Docker Compose. Knowledge of fundamental network protocols and communication models. Understanding of OS, process management, and memory management. Deep understanding of microservice architecture. Knowledge of design patterns and testing methodologies. Strong knowledge in multithreaded programming and code profiling. Desire and willingness to code in Julia.

Nice to have

Knowledge of financial markets. Experience in creating and maintaining products at all stages of the lifecycle. Experience in UX/UI development using TypeScript and React.
