Informa’s Cityscape Portfolio is the leading producer of world-renowned real estate tradeshows and digital events in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi, Bahrain & Egypt. We're searching for a talented Senior Sales Manager to spearhead sales for our award-winning Cityscape Bahrain and Cityscape Qatar real estate exhibitions. As part of a dynamic show team, you'll play a pivotal role in growing the event portfolio by reaching new heights in both established and emerging markets. You will be expected to dive sales growth, champion innovation, strengthen existing relationship with clients, become an industry expert and a Master of Communications we will help and support you every step of the way.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the target market.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring their continued participation and satisfaction.
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs and expectations, tailoring solutions to maximize their return on investment.
- Create compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our events.
- Engage with clients proactively through email, phone, and face-to-face meetings.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and exceeding goals.
- Support the wider event portfolio with sales initiatives as needed.
- Stay current on industry trends and competitor activity, anticipates and responds to potential opportunities and threats
- Anticipates and responds to potential opportunities and threats for the business relevant to the conditions of the market and industry
- Maintains customer database for accuracy and exceptional notes; conducts data clean-up each show cycle and on-going maintenance per policies
- Support Finance/Billers in resolving bad debt customers as a final escalation point as well as helping to collect deposits or balances I required
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets for Cityscape Bahrain and Qatar events.
KPI's
- Sales performance against targets.
- Sales performance of new and top target brands.
- Individual performance metrics such as productivity including volume and quality of calls, emails and virtual and in-person meetings.
- Penetration of sales campaign and follow through.
- Quality of customer service offered.
- Sales process and technology adoption metrics.
- In-market activity and network build on social media.
- Event planning and zone development of new profiles.
Qualifications
- Degree level education.
- Fluent in English (Written & Verbal).
- 5+ years in B2B sales or event sales.
- Preferable experience in tradeshow or conference sales & strategy.
- Proof of hitting large sales revenue targets..
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building abilities with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into sales opportunities.
- Proficient in CRM software and sales methodologies.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to travel
