Overview of the Role:



The Sales Engineer is a results-oriented professional with experience in the marine industry and/or power products. This role is responsible for achieving sales and profit targets in the assigned area, with a focus on driving business growth through strong customer relationships. The Sales Engineer will collaborate cross-functionally with the aftersales team, logistics, and finance to ensure customer satisfaction and meet business objectives.

What You Will Do:



Drive sales and achieve sales and profit targets for the assigned areas and products. Prepare detailed proposals, including technical specifications and commercial terms. Identify new leads in the marine and power products industries and convert them into real business opportunities. Actively engage in the market, conducting visits, meetings, and interactions with customers, including shipyards, fleet owners, and end users. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and assistance. Stay up to date with regional projects, industry trends, and competitor offerings. Collaborate with the aftersales team, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills to Be Successful:



Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Marine, or a related field. Strong technical and sales knowledge in diesel engines, power generators, and the marine industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and business skills. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales of diesel engines, power generation, or marine industry products, with at least 2 years in the GCC region. Valid UAE driving license. Sound technical knowledge in marine and power generation equipment. Strategic thinking skills with the ability to plan and organize effectively. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers in the marine and power products industries. Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
