Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the fit-out and construction sector. The ideal candidate will oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for various projects, ensuring that all financial aspects align with project objectives and company goals. This role requires extensive experience in managing project costs, conducting valuations, and providing strategic financial insights to support project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout project lifecycles.
• Conduct detailed cost estimates, valuations, and financial reporting.
• Manage contract administration, including procurement, tendering, and sub-contract negotiation.
• Monitor and assess project costs, identifying areas for cost-saving and efficiencies.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, assess financial risk, and ensure compliance with project budgets.
• Evaluate, measure, and document variations, preparing and submitting claims as necessary.
• Prepare regular cash flow forecasts and financial reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on financial objectives.
• Maintain a strong understanding of UAE market rates, supplier pricing, and trends in the fit-out and construction industry.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on fit-out and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration, and tendering processes in the UAE.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction and fit-out regulations and industry standards.

Compensation:

• Salary range of AED 10,000 - 15,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
