Job Description

The Senior Quality Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring that construction projects meet the highest quality standards. This position requires extensive experience in quality assurance and control within the construction and building industry. The Senior Quality Engineer will oversee the implementation of quality management systems and ensure compliance with industry regulations, project specifications, and client requirements. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of construction projects and ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for construction projects.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  3. Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to address quality-related issues.
  4. Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including reports and records.
  5. Train and mentor junior quality engineers and site staff on quality practices.
  6. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections.
  7. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  8. Participate in project meetings to provide insights on quality performance.
  9. Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet specified standards.
  10. Implement corrective actions for non-conformities and monitor their effectiveness.
