Senior Project Manager-Reclamation

General Description of Overall Role and Responsibilities:

• Leading and motivating the Construction Management Delivery Teams relating to Dredging, Reclamation and Edge Protection works.
• Pro-active management of Consultants, Sub-Consultants, Contractors and project participants.
• Ensuring continual compliance with overall project delivery strategies.
• Ensuring all parties are performing in accordance with their contracted services and their duties agreed under the responsibility matrix.
• Ensuring continual compliance with program procedures and agreed on reporting systems.
• Evaluation of progress on the Construction Methodology & Schedules for the Dredging works and taking necessary actions with relevant parties for deviations and time slippage.
• Ensuring the Safety Management System is being strictly adhered to.
• Ensuring that QA/QC procedures and standards are being implemented and followed.
• Manage the preparation of the Construction Managers Monthly Report.
• Review the Contractors submitted Monthly Reports and address any issues.
• Manage the Contractor and CSC in full compliance with the Project Health and Safety plan.
• Ensure perceived project risks are communicated to the Project Director and delivery teams.
• Monitor and review Consultants / Contractors performance, give regular, objective feedback on progress, and deal immediately with poor performance.

Project Specific Responsibilities:

• Responsible for any amendments to the Construction Management and Construction Supervision Plan, Process and Procedures.
• Day-to-day management and supervision of Hill Safety Managers, Construction Managers relating to the Dredging Reclamation and Edge Protection works.
• Hills main point of contact with the Dredging Contractor.
• Coordination with Hill Design Manager for any upstream and downstream design activities and their impact on the Dredging works.
• Coordination with Project Controls Manager to review the weekly data provided by the Contractor and provide a response to the Contractor on any inaccuracies.
• Analysis of all data from the project and summarised into a coherent, professional and concise Hill reporting dashboard and monthly report.
• Coordinate with the Commercial Manager in full accordance with the project change management process and advise of any changes.
• Provide support to Hill Quality Manager whilst executing his duties to manage, supervise and audit the quality management systems of the Contractor and Construction Supervision Consultant.
• Provide support and direction to Hill Safety Manager whilst executing his duties to manage, supervise and audit the health, safety, environment and sustainability management systems of the Contractor and Construction Supervision Consultant.
• Primarily responsible for management and supervision of the Dredging, Reclamation and Edge Protection Contractors for the testing, commissioning and closeout of the Dredging works together with the collection of all necessary documentation required by the Dredging, Reclamation and Edge Protection Contractors and Client to successfully hand over the Works.
