Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager based in the UAE to lead the construction of a large-scale solar park under a schedule of rates contract. This role requires exceptional project management expertise, strong leadership abilities, and in-depth knowledge of construction processes.The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the project, from planning and budgeting to execution and delivery, ensuring contractual obligations, safety standards, and operational metrics are met. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager for the Middle East, this position is critical to the successful delivery of the project and the future growth of the organization in the region.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ExecutionDevelop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.Oversee all construction activities, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and safety regulations.Team & Stakeholder ManagementLead and manage project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff.Act as the primary interface between the main contractor and stakeholders.Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the project team.Performance Monitoring & ReportingTrack productivity levels and implement strategies to optimize efficiency.Provide regular updates to clients, senior management, and project teams.Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.Quality AssuranceEnsure quality standards are consistently met, working closely with quality control teams.Address and resolve any issues promptly.Strategic ContributionContribute to the company’s growth by supporting follow-on work and achieving revenue and EBITDA targets.Undertake additional assignments as required by the Middle East team.RequirementsExperienceMinimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale mechanical projects.Familiarity with the solar industry and the Middle East market is highly preferred.Qualifications & SkillsMandatory:Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.Preferred:Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling techniques, and contract management.Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.Proficiency in project management software and tools.PMP certification is advantageous.
