The Role:

As we grow, we’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Applied AUS team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a skilled project manager who excels in fast-paced and diverse environments. You will be pivotal in shaping a portfolio of large-scale projects, overseeing their successful execution through innovative processes and a forward-thinking industry vision.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring all aspects are executed with excellence.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources, and manage the execution of each phase.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment.
  • Manage project risks and resolve issues to keep projects on track and in line with client expectations.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements specific to civil construction in the region.
  • Prepare and deliver progress reports, presentations, and proposals to senior management and clients.

Skills

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on civil construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, including road construction, earthworks, water and sewer projects, and industrial developments.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing teams and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • A relevant degree or certification in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
