SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to track progress and address scheduling issues.
• Prepare and submit baseline schedules, progress reports, and look-ahead programs.
• Analyze project delays, identify critical paths, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Assist in resource planning, procurement scheduling, and cost estimation.
• Prepare extension of time (EOT) claims and work on contractual planning issues.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, project specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports to management and stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on KPIs, progress tracking, and project forecasting.
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to discuss project status and planning updates.
  

Key Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, and Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning, with a strong focus on Data Centers and Shopping Malls projects.
• Proven experience working with main contracting companies in the UAE.
• Expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, resource allocation, and cost control.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Must be locally available in the UAE and ready to join immediately.
