Liaises with the advanced solution sales/project team to analyze the customer needs and requirements. Development and delivery of advanced solution presentations / demonstrations / training. Integration of hardware and software elements and functional configuration of advanced solution packages (like OSI PI, Exaquantum, etc) for the upper level configuration of the overall process control system Control and management of Factory Acceptance Testing, site commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing according to project milestones.DIMENSION Works under the general supervision of management. Should be self-motivated with a proven track record in process solution. Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques and criteria to ensure customer satisfactionQualification and Experience Bachelor Degree with engineering and/or software emphasis or equivalent experience. Experience with control system (preferably Yokogawa Centum DCS), interfacing, especially with OPC compliant devices and industrial networking methodologies. Minimum of three years experience in process control systems, process engineering, process operations, or systems house application engineering. Experience in installation and configuration of Real time historian including Graphics generation, Report generation, Development of customized calculation using scripts, interfacing with external systems like LIMS,ERP etc. Experience with control system (preferably Yokogawa Centum DCS), interfacing, especially with OPC compliant devices and industrial networking methodologies. Experience in installation and configuration of Windows operating system and components.Required Competencies / Skills Must have complete project lifecycle experience Must have worked in industrial automation industry as a Plant Information Management System (PIMS) engineer with experience in control system, interfacing methodologies especially with OPC compliant devices and industrial networking methodologies. Knowledge of Yokogawa Control Systems (Centum), Windows based SCADA , PIMS (preferably Exaquantum and/or PI) is preferred. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills Good knowledge of SQL Server database and MS Office. Working knowledge of OPC. Knowledge of SQL server database configuration & scripting.
