We are currently seeking a Senior Offshore Structural Designer, reporting directly to Head of the Department to join our Offshore Structural team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.

About the mission we offer you:
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Offshore Structural Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will have over 14 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with a strong focus on FEED, EPC, and detailed design projects. Proficiency in SP3D is mandatory. The Senior Designer will be responsible for crafting and developing robust structural solutions for offshore platforms and facilities, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Development:
- Create comprehensive structural designs for offshore platforms and facilities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs align with project specifications and industry standards.
- Employ advanced design software, including SP3D, to produce precise and efficient structural models.
2. Project Management:
- Engage in FEED, EPC, and detailed design phases of projects.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of design outputs.
- Contribute to the preparation of project documentation and reports.
3. Technical Expertise:
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and engineers.
- Perform structural analysis and simulations to verify design integrity.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
4. Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Participate in design reviews and audits to uphold quality and safety standards.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and other external parties.

Languages: English + proficiency level (Basic, Professional, Fluent)
Main skills: - Over 14 years of experience in offshore structural design within the oil and gas industry.
- Mandatory proficiency in SP3D design software.
- Strong understanding of offshore design codes and standards (e.g., API, ISO, DNV).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
