Black & Grey HR is seeking a talented Non-Motor Underwriting Officer on behalf of our client, a top-tier insurance company based in Dubai. The client is looking for a detail-oriented professional skilled in underwriting non-motor insurance products like property, marine, liability, and more (excluding health insurance).

Responsibilities:
- Prepare quotations, policies, and endorsements, ensuring alignment with the client’s underwriting guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, brokers, re-insurers, intermediaries, and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and service.
- Assess risks and quote competitive premiums for property, marine, liability, and miscellaneous insurance products.
- Coordinate across functions like marketing, claims, reinsurance, and accounts to drive operational efficiency.
- Strictly adhere to treaty limits while evaluating and accepting risks.
- Build strong client relationships by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries.
- Partner with surveyors to facilitate accurate survey reports for informed underwriting decisions.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in non-motor insurance underwriting.
- Deep understanding of underwriting principles, treaty compliance, and risk assessment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in insurance software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
